He believes that Sole should just take the criminals out, and not waste precious time by roleplaying as the Silver Shroud. He’s fine with the costume, but X6-88 thinks the voice is a little ridiculous. Why wouldn’t they just wear the strongest armor, and beat up the criminals immediately? No need to bother with crappy costumes and fake voices. He’s annoyed by how different Sole sounds, and how they’re bothering to play dress-up. Sole plays off this character, creating a lot of fun banter between them. Preston ends up coming up with a sort of cowboy character, really getting into it. He’s awestruck he gets to be the Silver Shroud’s sidekick, and takes to the role gladly. Since he’s a fan of the Silver Shroud, Preston loves seeing Sole pretend to be such a cool hero. He can’t wait to get the quest over with. Gage thinks the costume is an alright (if impractical) look, but the voice is overkill. It just rubs him the wrong way when Sole changes their voice- probably because they sound so corny. What’s better than a fictional hero come to life?Īfter Sole’s adventures as the Shroud conclude, Piper will do a series of interviews with them about their experiences as the Shroud for the paper.Ĭan’t believe he got roped into being the Silver Shroud’s sidekick. She’s a huge fan of the Noire aesthetic Sole gives off in the costume, and is excited to be their reporter sidekick! The voice may be a tad cheesy, but she loves it anyways. Thinks it’s a fun distraction from heavier missions… until things go south, of course. Sole’s portrayal of the Silver Shroud even starts changing his mind, and he soon finds himself able to tolerate the original show when they listen to it. Nick plays along with Sole’s charade, helping them dole out justice as the Shroud’s partner. While he’s definitely not the Silver Shroud’s biggest fan, he is plenty happy helping Kent out. He can’t wait until Sole drops the act, and they can get to the good, actually paying jobs. MacCready will still help Sole, but the fact they’re going so far as to use the voice is a bit… off-putting. He may roll his eyes and mutter something, but he’ll still support Sole’s vigilante justice. But the voice and costume are a little grating at times. On one hand, it’s certainly amusing to see Sole run around dressed as a comic book guy. Plus, two costumed freaks striking down douchebags who’ve wronged folks- what could be more of a good time? He likes the costume, and finds it quite flattering on Sole. And he’s glad to be their little partner in crime fighting!ĭown with it, as long as Sole sticks to kicking asses that deserve it. He’s quite happy to help Sole with whatever they need! Sure, the costume and voice took some getting used to… but Dogmeat knows it’s still Sole. It’s just like how the Unstoppables comics go! Kent, of course, loves the idea of Grognak joining the Silver Shroud. Of course, his trademark shades ruin the illusion a bit- but he and Sole have one hell of a time kicking butt and taking names. He decides to nab the Grognak costume from Hubris Comics to make a powerful team. Besides, Goodneighbor has their own law enforcement! Why not just let them do their job?įreaking loves it. Of course, he’s not going to diss Sole because they’re playing dress-up… but he’s not super thrilled about playing a vigilante’s sidekick. She might giggle a bit at Sole’s vocal impersonations of the Silver Shroud, but she tries her best to stay in character alongside them.įinds it horrendously unnecessary and disrespectful, to be honest. They play the part so well! Curie is happy to play sidekick, though she’s relieved that Sole tries to talk the criminals down first (before they’re forced to violence). She thinks it’s a tad silly, but she’s intrigued about Sole’s acting abilities. Codsworth just rolls with it, seeing how Sole is having such great fun pretending to be the Silver Shroud! He pretends to be the Shroud’s loyal butler, roped into adventure by accident. He remembers when Sole would listen to the show pre-war. She does think the costume is cool, but would never admit it. ![]() ![]() Cait doesn’t really like the voice, finding it obnoxious. Sole, being such a goody two-shoes, of course had to stop and help Kent. And if that means cleaning up the streets with a costumed crusader, then so be it! At least Sole is having a blast. She believes it’s a bit bizarre and unnecessary, but she’s happy to help folks out. Sorry this is so short, and took awhile to get to :’) ![]()
